Security: Adobe Hacked 38million accounts compromised

Adobe has confirmed that a recent cyber-attack compromised customer accounts.

38 million active usernames and encrypted passwords have been stolen as well as parts of Photoshops's source code.

Adobe has stated their passwords do use a Hashing algorithm. I do not know if these passwords where Salted but we all know by now that In a perfect world we also want them Salted.  For the most part you should be safe for the time being. I do suggest changing you Adobe account cridentials either way. There are always risks of Social engineering threats if someone gets ahold of parts of your credentials.

Adobe has also previously revealed source code for Acrobat and ColdFusion had also been illegally accessed. This information could allow programmers to analyze and reverse engineer how Adobe's software works for their own benefit.
