Apple adds FOX Now and CNBC to their AppleTV lineup

Another step towards cable cutting as Apple adds FOX Now and CNBC to their AppleTV lineup.

Both providers will require that you sign in to authentic your cable subscription. So we aren’t there yet. At least this is movement in the right direction.

does not offer live streaming of the FOX network instead provides you with a portal to their on-demand content. With shows like Brooklyl Nine-nine and New Girl, it’s a welcome addition.

does provide live streaming of their programing in addition to some of thier more popular on-demand shows.

How do you feel about the direction AppleTV is going? Share your thoughts with us in the comments below. I’m personaly waiting for the day the flood gates open to an Appletv store.

Food for thought. If Apple supported all the channels we needed with the Appletv could we save money by canceling our HD channels. We may not be saying much but to my knowledge they are not checking whether you have a HD subscription, just if you're a paying cable subscriber. What's your tho
