Headline: At&t cell phone troubles in Los Angeles

CNN reported that there was a hardware glitch that led to hours of disruption for some wireless customers in southern California, Subscribers started reporting outage problems Saturday afternoon, according to AT&T spokeswoman Meredith Red. The glitches led to a loss of wireless phone service in the Los Angeles area. Data and text services are still working, the spokeswoman said. She did not have an estimate on when voice services were restored or the number of customers affected by the outage. Personally I lost voice service around 3pm PST. Could not place calls out and all incoming were going straight to voice main and of course I could not reach that either. What was funny was data and texting were working fine. What was scary thought was even 911 and 611 were not working at all. I feel bad if anyone needed emergency service last night. Ultimately my service was back online at almost midnight, The only reason I know is I tried to test it before bed. It would of be nice to get some kind of notification when At&t's service went back up.

On a side note: I posted on few social networks last night looking for conformation of the problem since I was out. I did not have the time or access to look into it my self. Within 2min I received  tons of replays on Google+. Other social networks not so much. Over the past month I have felt Google+ seems more people are willing to helping on a professional level.
