Take a break from Yosemite beta | Disable notifications

Apple has seeded another Yosemite beta to developers this week. If you're like me and need a bit of downtime from the bugs and stability issues that comes along with beta’s. Take a break by following the steps below.

 

To Disable Yosemite beta release notifications

    • Click on the  menu.
    • Select System Preferences...
    • Click on App Store.
    • Click on the "Change" button right next to "Your computer is set to receive pre-release Software Update seeds."
    • Click the button marked "Do Not Show Pre-release Updates"

    This change will take effect right away
