Tip: Videos in your rss reader

Wouldn't it be cool to have all your news in one place? Articles, videos and all? Here is a quick tip to do just that.

My rss reader of chouse has been Feedly for a very long time. I like having the same synced experience on all devices. Which Feedly has been in a position to provide for a long time.

Here come the tip:

Add your favorite video publishers to your RSS reader. Most services like Viemo are very forth coming with their rss urls. While others like Youtube seem to hide them.

Because knowing is half the battle.

1. Goto the Youtube users channel
2. Grab the URL
Example: https://www.youtube.com/user/lifewithtechnet
3. Edit the url by adding an “rss/“ and “feed.rss”
Example: https://www.youtube.com/rss/user/lifewithtechnet/feed.rss
4. Add it to your rss reader of choice
