StreamCoach is designed with privacy in mind. You can use the app without creating an account or providing personal information.

Information We Collect

StreamCoach does not collect, store, or sell personal information directly through normal app usage.

The app is designed primarily for local camera analysis on your Mac.

Camera & Media Access

StreamCoach may request access to:

• Your camera
• Local image files used for calibration references
• Optional exported analysis history files

Camera access is used only to display your live preview and capture still frames for analysis.

StreamCoach does not continuously upload or stream your live video.

AI Analysis

If you choose to use AI-powered analysis or Style Chat features, selected still frames and related image-analysis context may be sent to OpenAI for processing.

This may include:

• Captured still frames
• Camera profile information
• Calibration settings
• Optional Studio Map context
• User-entered Style Chat prompts

These requests are only made when initiated by the user.

API Keys

OpenAI API keys entered into StreamCoach are stored securely using the macOS Keychain system.

StreamCoach does not transmit or share your API key outside of requests required to communicate with OpenAI services.

Calibration References

Imported calibration reference images are stored locally on your Mac under:

~/Library/Application Support/StreamCoach/References/

These files remain under your control and are not automatically uploaded.

Studio Map Data

Studio Map layouts, lighting positions, and related setup information are stored locally as part of your app configuration and may optionally be included in AI analysis prompts to improve recommendation quality.
