Loupedeck Is Dead: How Logitech Killed It

Loupedeck ending sales feels less like a surprise and more like the final confirmation of a slow collapse. Before Logitech took over, Loupedeck had rough edges, but it also had momentum: useful updates, creator-focused hardware, and a reason to believe the platform would keep improving.

That trust fell apart once the software started breaking in ways that were hard to recover from. Version 6.0 brought instability, plugins failed, devices froze, and version 6.1.0 finally pushed my Loupedeck Live over the edge with the spinning loading-screen bug. With no easy rollback, no archived installer, and support asking for more time while the diagnostic tool would not even launch, the platform stopped feeling dependable.

So I moved on to a Stream Deck Plus. The timing was almost too perfect: I spent the day setting it up, then Loupedeck announced the end of sales. This video is the frustration behind that switch, and the larger question for anyone who built a workflow around hardware that now feels abandoned.
