Ray-Ban Meta Display: $800 Paperweight If You Lose This

The Ray-Ban Meta Display Glasses have an ownership problem that matters more than the spec sheet: the proprietary charger, Neural Band, and case are not simple accessories you can casually replace. If you lose the wrong piece, an expensive pair of smart glasses can quickly become very hard to use.

In this video, I walk through what I learned after checking the replacement situation and why the charging cable is such a weak point for an $800 wearable. Meta may repair or replace parts through support, but that is very different from being able to buy a spare charger, case, or band when you need one.

This is the kind of practical detail that should be solved before more people buy in. The hardware may be interesting, but if one lost cable can break the whole experience, Meta needs a clearer accessory and replacement path fast.
